For field use, we highly recommend pairing the pump with a lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) battery. They offer an excellent combination of low weight, usable capacity, and long service life for gold prospecting.

I ordered the production bilge kit with my highbanker, the system works as it should with the right amount of water being supplied. There were extra fittings included and I did switch the one end that connects to to highbanker intake for the angled piece. It took heating the hose in boiling water to soften it up enough to fit onto the threaded end and the added the clamps(also included) to ensure it wouldn’t come off.
The hose seems long enough for the majority of where I dig for now but my future plans are to move to a gas pump so I can run higher up on the sand bars with out lugging buckets of dirt.
