Just as I hoped.
Did a test run today with the new 25 foot forestry hose and larger pump(3700 gph). Hose performed as I had expected coming from Cyle, no issues at all and a solid product.
On a side note, some may say it’s to much pump and i will be blowing out the micro gold and I would agree(keep in mind I am very green to prospecting) having said that I also run a Jarvine riffle, which with the 2000gph pump I was finding the larger stones that make it threw the grate bunched up. Tried steeper angle but that of coarse affected the movement in the riffles.
Now the unit is running as it should and test run showed micro colours.
Thank you for quality products.
Excellent product
I used my new high banker for the first time a few days ago. River was finally low enough. Easy and fast to set up. Ran for an hour and gold some gold. Catches very fine gold and lots of different shapes and sizes of lead, so I know if/when I get on a good deposit, it will capture the big stuff too. Thinking about making some pontoons for it so I can run it out in the middle of the river as well for those cold days when I don’t want to get wet using my dredge.
Info
It works with the 25’ hose kit I bought from you.
Gold Dreaming
Everything that comes with the high banker kit is top notch Equipment I have used mine a lot with no negative issues and Clyde is the man he is the go to man for any items related to gold prospecting. Thanks, Cruz Equipment.
Ultra light, durable and rolls up compact.
After using this hose a few times ive really grown to appreciate it more and more. Its super light, durable and rolls/ folds up really compactly. I bought a 25′ and a 50′ coil and put poly camlock fittings on them. The white color makes it super easy to spot and follow in low lighting conditions. I ended up just keeping the 50′ coil in the truck and the 25′ rolls and fits into my backpack side pocket and doesn’t throw off the weight distribution. Its super nice having everything contained to the interior of my backpack when bush wacking to a remote location on the claim. No more getting hooked and snagged by branches. The first time I used it, I pinched the hose until the pump got enough back pressure to continually feed water. I havnt had to do that since. I just lay it out flat, turn the pump on and its good to go.
Im super happy with the gold trek highbanker and this hose. The whole set up fits in my backpack and is about 13 pounds. I dont have the greatest cardio so keeping my equipment weight low makes all the difference. Since im not tired when I get to the good spot on the claim now, I can shovel longer and find more gold before my endurance fades.
